Journey is always a pleasure to me . But my greatest pleasure is in a journey by air . I once got a chance to travel by air .
In my childhood I was eager to travel by air . At last my dream of journey by air came true last year . During my last winter vacation my father decided to take me Thailand for a five day tour . When my mother told me about plane journey , I was very happy and thanked my father for his decision .
In the first week of the last December we applied for Thai visa and got it . A few days ago of the journey , my father bought business class air tickets of Thai Airways . In the first week of January we flew for Bangkok . Our flight was on 4th January . On the fixed day we reached at the Dhaka International Airport at 10.30 pm . Our flight was at 12.30 am .
In the meantime , we stood in line to check in and finally got into the plane .
My joy knew no bounds when I got into the plane for the first time . Then within a few minutes the pilot of the plane welcomed us in English . He requested every passenger to tight seat belt . Though I was happy , I felt nervous . Because this is my fist Journey by air. My father help me to bring out myself from nervousness . Then the plane started running on the runway and took off with a jerking . Later , the plane gradually rose into the air .
I was lucky to find a seat beside window . The plane kept flying on an even level . The jerking for taking off was stopped then . It was moving smoothly in the air . After that I began to enjoy the scenes below and beside . At first the land below seemed to be a . garden full of trees and plants . The zigzag roads looked like snakes . Human beings looked like very tiny creatures . Buses , trains , trucks and cars appeared to be toys of children .
After sometime , a beautiful flight attendant came and offered some food , drinks , chocolates etc. I took some chocolates and thanked her . She also thanked me for gad on travelling in Thai Airways .
The plane passed over fields , rivers , cities , oceans etc. At one point the plane flew at a height of about 4,000 feet . The sights below became invisible . But suddenly I saw clouds moving beside me . I wanted to touch the clouds but window glass stopped me . After about six hours we were in the air of Thailand . Suddenly I again heard the voice of the pilot . He announced that we were in Thailand . Then he requested us to tie our seat belt because the plane would land within half an hour .
The plane gradually came down and landed at Bangkok International Airport . After touching the ground it moved for a while on the wheels . At last it stopped and we got down . Thus , my first journey by air came to an end . It was really a memorable journey on my life.
